Before you start

Photos of you (6 to 15)

  • Clear face close-ups and chest-up shots from different angles: straight, three-quarter, both sides.
  • A few expressions: a smile, a calm face, a laugh.
  • Daylight or bright indoor light. No heavy filters or beauty mode, no sunglasses, hats or masks.
  • Only you in the frame. Adults only, and only photos of you or of someone who agreed.
  • JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC. At least 640 px on the short side, up to 12 MB each. Phone photos are perfect, large files are shrunk automatically.
  • Blurry, dark or duplicate photos are flagged so you can replace them.

A place or background (optional)

  • Upload any photo of the place you want to be in: a yard, a room, an office, a studio, a holiday set with a Christmas tree or a menorah.
  • At least 640 px on the short side, up to 12 MB. Wide landscape photos work best. No people in it.
  • Or skip it and just describe the place in words: "Christmas evening by the fireplace".

Your wishes

  • Pick a style and the format you will post in: Instagram, Stories and Reels, square, YouTube, wide banner.
  • Choose eye colour and makeup, or say or write anything in your own words: dress, mood, lights, purpose. Tap the microphone and speak in any language, up to one minute at a time.

Your data

  • Your photos are saved in your account library, so you never upload them twice.
  • They are used only to make your photos and are never shown to anyone else. Voice recordings are sent to Google to be written down and are not stored.
  • The library deletes itself 90 days after you last use it. You can delete everything yourself at any time.
